I have some reasonable measure of love for Hugh Panaro. ... fill in the blank on Drew....

Hahaha, don't say anything negative or Catherine might KEEL YOU.

Seriously, though, it was the writers' faults as much as Sarich's that Armand was so fail. And Anne Rice's, really, because from what I can tell certain characters' personalities seem to change drastically from book to book, and Armand is one of these. The most recent TVC I read depicted Armand as rather adorable and wise and in love and all that, so I was feeling particularly fond of him (in fact, he and his lovaahhh are currently my favourite characters and pairing, though Louis and Lestat are cute as well) when I saw Drew Sarich playing him as a mustache-twirling (metaphorically) snitty villain. And... and kind of chubby. His costume was obviously based on the Banderas thing that happened in the movie, not his description in the book, so that pissed me off as well.

Uhhhhh I suppose, due to the fact that this comment has gotten way out of hand and you probably don't really have that much idea what I'm talking about and I have more things to say, I think it's safe for me to say that I need to make a post about TVC and Lestat and Interview with a Vampire...
