Awww Nuno! I think he's an awesome lil thing!
I saw a clip of his clown on you tube back in the summer and was really impressed. Now I'm even more impressed, I mean.. Look at him go!
I have a thing about seeing understudies they can be such a treasure and he's one of those at the top of my list at the moment. I've seen clips of his Mozart too and found him endearing in the role. I'd actually quite like to see almost all the understudies for MOR. That is except those of Solal, Florent and Yamin. Those 3 completely own it as far as I'm concerned and it would not be the same without them.
Anyway I don't think your post is bitter at all, your just being honest. It's natural that not everyone will cater to your taste and I pretty much agree with most if not all of what you've written.
I like Merwan, he has a really nice voice and I have much respect him but his Salieri is too normal and calm for my taste. The role needs the erratic madness that Flo gives it.
Do you know why Nuno doesn't play the innkeeper as well as the clown? It seems odd he'd cover one part but not the other.
It's probably a slim chance but I'd love it if Nuno was on as Mozart for one of the shows I see.
I have to admit I'm not overly fond of the new arrangements for some of the songs. I'm mourning the loss of 'Debout les fous' too I've not yet to completely warmed to the new song but maybe I need to see it live to appreciate it? *shrugs*

Btw apparently it's Mikele's birthday today. People have been posting about it on the MOR facebook page so I imagine you'd see much fan craziness there today so watch out.
Ok sorry, I'm rambling way too much now.
