haha, that sucks. I had a student teacher who had gone to France for a while and she said that when she got there everyone thought she was weird cause she went down the street saying hi to people... Don't know why you'd even do that in America, but I guess she was REALLY friendly. Maybe it was more casual than that, but she said she found out later that people keep to themselves... I was so glad when that student teacher left. I HATED her teaching style. She acted like we were little kids or something. My real French teacher was kinda absent minded, and a bit crazy.
