Thank you so much for being so kind! No one has ever said anything that nice to me about my body. I was ten years old when my pediatrician told me "You're obese" and I spent the rest of my life feeling like I had to be the weird unpopular kid because you had to be thin to be normal and accepted. Since graduating high school I've started coming to terms with who I am, and right when I was feeling like a decent person, bam! For the first time ever I don't feel like a lard-o. It's an amazing feeling.
I guess childhood is going to be rough and frustrating no matter what side of the spectrum you're on. I was raised by an overweight mom who saw me as a crash diet buddy rather than helping me feel like it could be okay to be heavy, so there's no part of me that's capable of believing that big is beautiful. It's like it's against everything I've ever heard.
More importantly, I'm pretty excited to get home so said mom can take me shopping and I can get some clothes that actually fit! I'm swimming in everything right now. As you can probably see by looking at the sleeve of my dress in the second picture. :D
Seriously, you look great. Moreover, it shows in how happy you are and your smile. You're gorgeous. But I could already tell that by all the pictures of YOU FACE NEXT TO PEOPLE I WANT TO MEET. Yeah, see, they're not as distracting as you think. >> I show those pictures to my friends like, "Isn't Loony pretty? :'D"
That'll be a nice gift to yourself. That way going home wont seem so un-wonderflo. It's probably gonna be nice getting home anyway, even if it means leaving the Mikelmazing land of MOR. Just since you'll be back in a place where You can understand people perfectly... lol
I was gonna say it'll probably be warmer in NC, but then I realized that I don't actually know what kind of climate there is in NC or where you are now, so I can make a good comparison. lol.
