So it never occurred to me that things like this might be on youtube...
They said on the forum that there was definitely going to be a DVD someday. That is the best news ever, by the way. It brings me joy.
Someday I will regain my ability to talk about things other than Mozart l'Opéra Rock. But it is not this day.
Le Trublion
I'm enthralled by everyone humping each other in the background and irritated by the presence of that one top hat. Come on, guys. I think the lady Mozart runs off with at the end of the song is his mom...
Vivre à en crever:
WTF why is this operatic thing happening at the end? Is the beginning cut off this or did they take a verse out? Holy crap, the lighting effects at the end made my jaw drop. The song lost a little of its awesome just because it's being performed live, but it's still mega-foxy-awesome-hot in general, so I approve. Also, the weird lighting makes Salieri look like he's walking on fawn legs or something. Which is lolarious.
L'Assasymphonie:
Oh my love for this song. Unlike the other two, I don't think this one loses anything by being performed live. Maybe because I've heard the acoustic version so many thousands of times. Though I must admit I got really tickled when the half-naked men came out and started flailing around. With all the flashy lights it kind of looked like they were giving the extras seizures or something. Which is a concept that amuses me in what I don't mean to be an offensive way. But look at Florent ANGST! He's so good at it.
Tatoue-moi!
Listen to Mikelangelo's accent at the end! He sounds so adorable! Aw. I like how he finishes the song and his mom just sort of... plops. That's never good. Especially in the middle of the street. When it's raining. I also gotta say I never expected him to be rejected over and over by all the women he propositions when he sings this. And I should really stop worrying about the anachronistic fashions and focus on the pretty... but I swear I saw Bamatabois dancing in the crowd there...
Well, here it is from another angle just because I never get tired of this song:
