The understudies are a massive rarity! I don't think any of them has ever been on more than a few times. The issue was that Flo, Maeva, and Estelle were off performing at some telethon thing.
I am overly excited that I am not the only person who loves that Bravo Mozart guy!!! He just looks so JUBILANT and fresh-faced and wide-eyed.
I think my favourite parts are Le Bien qui fait mal, L'Assasymphonie, Victime de ma victoire, Rosenbeeeerg, the scene right before Le Bien qui fait mal where Rosenberg adlibs a lot and yells "Trop de notes!", annnnnd okay actually I'm just naming all the scenes with Yamin and Flo.
Outside of those two, I have, like, random lines I've gotten really attached to. REALLY random lines. Like Colloredo's "Quel est ce... ce torchon?" at the beginning, and, of course, "La Force Publique? Mais qui êtes-vous, m'sieur??" annnnd ooh! Solal's "Comment vais-je nourir ma famille?" because he always sounds really Italian to me there somehow. And obviously when Mikele goes "Des limites?" and pretends to blow magic dust on Da Ponte's face and goes, "J'ai mieux." Awesome.
Actually I kind of want to just make a list of all the random things on the DVD that I've become obsessed with. This isn't even the tip of the crazy iceberg.
