I guess childhood is going to be rough and frustrating no matter what side of the spectrum you're on. I was raised by an overweight mom who saw me as a crash diet buddy rather than helping me feel like it could be okay to be heavy, so there's no part of me that's capable of believing that big is beautiful. It's like it's against everything I've ever heard.
More importantly, I'm pretty excited to get home so said mom can take me shopping and I can get some clothes that actually fit! I'm swimming in everything right now. As you can probably see by looking at the sleeve of my dress in the second picture. :D
