Hmmmm.

 On August 3rd the Paris lady emailed me saying my paperwork was ready to be mailed and asking for my address.  I sent it to her in under an hour.

The paperwork hasn't arrived yet.  Remembering that this is the lady who forgot about my skype interview, I decided to email her again.  My appointment at the consulate is Monday.  I made sure to forward the new message from my sent message that included the address, just in case I had to prove that I'd already mailed her the address and it was hella prompt.

This morning I woke up to a reply from her that was literally like "I can't believe you waited so late to give me your address, you're going to have to change your consulate date, oh wait maybe if I send the documents with DHL they'll get there tomorrow."

................................................................that is not what happened

So I replied all OMG I'm so sorry I didn't realize you hadn't received my first email ON AUGUST 3RD with my address!  Oh wow that's horrible of me I sure am glad I thought to send a second email and also do I need to reimburse you for DHL?

Hmmmmmm.  This is the second time the woman who is going to be in charge of my life for the next year did something stupid.

Let's hope I find a real job soon and don't have to au pair again with them for a second year because this could be bad.  I just gotta stay on top of her, I guess.

At least everything else is working out...

Wow. That woman is incredibly unprofessional. Is there anyone else at the...agency {? can't remember if that is what it is or not} that you could work with once you're in Paris?
