My Simpire: Phase One

...which means a Sim empire. Not a Sim vampire. Though I had one of those too.
The original idea was to just play a long family tree with no cheats, but I quickly decided I needed the occasional maxMotives to spare my sanity and get stuff done. Then I decided that from each family I'll pick one kid to carry on the empire. That kid gets raised the Sim way, no cheats but maxMotives, all that good stuff. Any other kids are subject to my insanity.
And so it began. Upon arriving in Strangetown I elected to start things off at the Curious household, where three ugly guys lived. When I arrived, one of them immediately showed signs of a pretty advanced alien pregnancy. Due to my Nazi-esque hatred for any Sim created by the game and not by me (a few special ones in Pleasantview got adopted: Goopy, Ivy Copur, and Creepy Don whatever) I used a boolprop cheat (yes I know it's a cheat stfu I'm addicted!) and invited the whole neighbourhood over. Then I fenced everyone in, watching them all and trying to decide which of them was worthy of becoming the mother or father of my Simpire. Shortly before death, that man popped out an alien baby. I saw my chance and used the Sim Modder to grow the alien baby up and used move_Objects to free her from the fence. I named her Octyabrina. Her first twenty memories were all deaths.
Of course, killing all the Sims who live in playable houses does not leave me with a big empty neighbourhood and no one but Octyabrina. People would still walk by occasionally and, for reasons I don't really remember, I chose Gerard Landry to be the unworthy father of my Simpire. After the two were married, the surname of the family unfortunately changed from Curious to Landry. Ew.
Anyway, Gerard and Octyabrina had a pasty white son whom I named Astyanax and, shortly following that, a green boy called Andromack (hurr hurr). After raising Astyanax the Sim way I was too impatient to deal with Andromack's toddlerisms, so I grew him up with cheats and went with my old standy for the Sims I don't want to deal with anymore: when they're teens, send 'em off to college. I may never see Andromack again. And I don't really mind.
Astyanax, meanwhile, was a good student and became really talented at working cash registers and building robots. He had several potential love interests, but it eventually ended up being a pretty teenager named Kendal whom I grew up with one tiny little cheat so that the two could become engaged and move out of Octyabrina's house.
I began Astyanax and Kendal's new life this morning at work (despite it being spring break I drive back to Chapel Hill for work and today there was a Carolina/Duke game, so the cinema business wasn't exactly hopping) and was showing my awesome colleague Derek the game. He had heard tell of alien abductions and asked me to use a cheat to achieve one. I figured it couldn't hurt (there's always college) so I used the boolprop cheat and forced an abduction upon Astyanax, then used the Tombstone of Life and Death to speed up his pregnancy so that he had the baby within a few Sim hours. Derek was really excited to see the silly faces the male Sims make in that birth animation after I had reenacted it, but when the time came there was a huge WALL in the way of us seeing that animation the computer runs! We only saw, like, his elbow the whole time. AND THEN HE HAD TWINSSSS. I didn't even want ONE alien baby, but he had TWINS!
I let Derek name them (they were both girls and they were christened Bryan and idk) and then... grew them up to teens and sent them to college. Derek was so disappointed at having been unable to see the male birth faces that I figured... eh, whatever. And I used the cheat again. And Astyanax was kidnapped again. And his poor wife Kendal almost went mad. They're family Sims, so they're not into that weird stuff.
And so another child was born. I'm a little ashamed to say that I recycled a name I used in Pleasantview and named him Jailbait (though my other Jailbait is a girl, so it's all good) and then... off to college he went! Now I decided it was time for me to go back to my Simpire, so I cheered Kendal and Astyanax up as best I could and then had them try for a baby. Of course it did that ridiculous first woohoo animation and amused/horrified Derek. So Kendal got pregnant and had a girl (yayy I can get rid of the horrible Landry name!) whom I named Sycorax. Moments after her birth, Astyanax decided to go stargaze with the telescope.
AND
HE
GOT
ABDUCTED
AGAIN.
I had NEVER seen someone get abducted on their own (read: without the boolprop cheat). I completely FLIPPED and called Kat to tell her and then got really annoyed, because seriousy? The poor guy had already had THREE alien babies...
So after a time another baby was born (I think it happened right after Sycorax became a toddler) and I named him Bannakaffalatta. He was the Sim I amused myself with while Sycorax was growing up properly: I made him a romance Sim and took him downtown and had him woohoo, like, everybody in this nightclub in a photo booth. And then everybody else would slap him. And then he met a vampire named Count Clive, who kept trying to bite him and then getting distracted and not doing it. I was really interested to see a vampire alien, so I was excited about that... but the sun came up and Count Clive fled. I took Bannakaffalatta back home and that night Count Clive showed up at their house! So Bannakaffalatta became a vampire. Alien vampires are adorable, though: their eyes just turn red and they have fangs. It doesn't change their skin colour.
Meanwhile, I had picked a passerby to be Sycorax's future husband because I liked his last name. He was called Edward Fuchs, you guys. Edward Fuchs. Sycorax eventually grew up (and by the time she made it to adult she had maxed out almost all her skills and been promoted to the top of the teenage science career!) and she and Edward became engaged. I had to be careful, though, because Edward was one of the people Bannakaffalatta fell in love with at the nightclub, so I had Sycorax's brother juggle while she and her future husband flirted and whatnot in order to spare a bunch of slapping and cheating angst. (Bannakaffalatta and Edward Fuchs did not woohoo, though, so it's all good.)
Oh! And that stupid Count Clive came over to their house, like, every night and kept trying to bite Kendal and Astyanax, who decidedly did NOT want to be vampires! And Kendal really wanted to flirt with and fall in love with Bannakaffalatta for some reason, which really disturbed me. She had to buy a buttload of Vampricillin from a matchmaker because she got bitten TWICE and it wasn't something she wanted, so every time he bit her her aspiration level plummetted and she went mad. I finally had Bannakaffalatta and Count Clive argue until they fell out of love and he stopped coming 'round after that. (Also, he kept showing up during the day and then a little speech bubble thing would pop up that said "Count Clive: Ahh, the sun! I must flee!" which always made me laugh.)
Anyway, Sycorax and her future husband Edward Fuchs have moved out and are ready to begin the third generation of... MY SIMPIRE. Muahaha.
But first I'm going to do some homework.
