LOTS OF ANGRY, SCREAMING FLO UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY.

He was fifteen when he founded this band.  I can only assume they're the ones who taught him to YEEOWWWwwwWWWww.

CLICK ON THE AMAZING PICTURE.

Florent Mothe, I am the most straight-laced wide-eyed innocent-brained person you've ever met and you made me somehow enjoy screamo.  What is this.

(Like the other Flo music post, I'll probably lock this in a few days.)
 THE GIF IS A LINK.

A LINK... TO ENGLISH SUBTITLES.

MERRY CHRISTMAS INTERNET.

(I MADE THEM. These are my translations with beta help from Laurel and [livejournal.com profile] malanai and the subtitle file is entirely of my own creation.  I am not going to tell you where to get the video they go with, but if you haven't figured it out by now you are a herpderp.  This post is unlocked because I want the whole internet to have access to these subtitles.  EVERYONE NEEDS MOR.  I made them, I own them, and if you're the forum TRY AND SUE ME.  YOU CANNOT.  THESE ARE MY CREATION, BEEYOTCH.)

(To use the subtitles, just give them the same name as the .avi file of the Mozart l'Opéra Rock DVD and put them in the same folder.  I use GOMPlayer, an awesome free sleek quick and easy video player, and it picks them up flawlessly.  I'm pretty sure things like VLC will also be able to play them.  I've been told there's a display error with some of the accents in DivX, but I couldn't bear to put "Sussmayr" when "Süssmayr" was an option, so I'm sorry to you if you use DivX.  There are very few umlauts.)

IN THE WORDS OF THAT SANTA UP THERE, FLO FLO FLO MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Oh and by the by, greatest news ever: it has been said by Dove that there will someday be a DVD of whatever they filmed on Tuesday.  I WILL SUBTITLE THAT ONE TOO YOU GUYS because, based on the eight times I saw the show in the past few months, it's going to be EVEN BETTER than the existing DVD by about a thousand percent.
So, Leigh was asking for this link and because of that I will love her forever.  :D

Iz mah "novel"!  Warning: iz bad.  Will be better someday.

Also, since Howard Rice apparently SUES people who write fanfiction (WTF Howard Rice?!?) for her oh-so-ficworthy novels which I just can't not love having moved on past Baby Jenks, I've turned to the next-best thing: deviantart.  And I equally love the cuddly boys pictures and the comics.  Things like this, which made me snicker until I had hiccups.  That's the most hilarious and wonderful Louis I've ever seen.  Also he kind of reminds me of my Richmond.  In similar news, facebook!Montparnasse went on a friending spree that I find hilarious.

So, about Howard Rice (with whom I am eternally annoyed: curse her for enslaving my soul to her ridiculous and wonderful vampires then depriving me of fanfiction!  curse her I say!)... I've read the first three books and I love them a lot (except for Baby Jenks, who almost made me quit reading).  I ship Armand/Daniel hardcore, though I'm worried a little about Armand.  Especially after I saw Drew Sarich turn him into a moustache-twirling old-timey VILLAIN.  I mean, I know Armand has some serious problems, but he's not pure evil.  And Marius CERTAINLY didn't hate him!  WTF, Lestat musical.  WTF.  In other news, Louis and Lestat make for some adorable comics on deviantart.  As previously illustrated.

I made some comment on youtube about how I loved the sexy gay vampires and somebody tried to start, like, a philosophical debate on whether or not they were gay... I was like, dude.  1. It's a compliment.  I said I like them.  and 2. When I see a boy kissing a boy, I am going to say that that is homosexuality, mkay?  I don't care if they're vampires or humans or penguins.

Tara and I decided we wanted to make all the sexy gay vampires on the Sims.
OH DID I MENTION NO I DON'T THINK I DID MY SIMS ARE NOT DEAD THEY FIXED MY COMPUTER WITHOUT WIPING IT FOR ONCE YATTA.  Though they did manage to knock off one of those rubbery grip things on the bottom of the laptop...
In celebration we made the Kamaras family, which consisted of Mate, der Tod, Herbert, and The Narrator (Lucheni).  Three of them are very similar-looking brothers.  I'm in love with the Herbert one as a real person and was working on being in love with him as a Sim too, but instead he developed a crush on Pavi Largo and said alt!Julian was HOT.  Slight fail, though accurate.  Carolyn gets Mate and Molly gets der Tod and Tara gets The Narrator.  Also, the Mate one kept trying to kiss der Tod.  Lulz.

Also, I watched Tanz der Vampire yesterday.  Maybe the problem was that I don't speak German or that I didn't realise Herbert's part was so insignificant, but oh my word I didn't really enjoy it.  I like that big crashing theme it uses once in a while, but I'm not sure what else I expected from a musical whose biggest number seems to be Total Eclipse of the Heart... Herbert's song is fun, though, as is the fast one that that old professor type sings.  I'm just very unsurprised that it was a huge fail in the US.  I suppose it might grow on me... or maybe I'll just stick to the Herbert parts.  Aww, Herbert.

HEY could the Anne Rice vampires make a vampire out of, like, a possum?

BAhahahaha.

Anyway, this: Get Your Own Fledgling, Armand!, was the first fanart I saw that made me decide I needed a "lol deviantart" folder of awesome saved pictures.  The look on each of their faces!  Especially poor Louis, who just wants to read poetry and emote... Poor Louis.  We had a joke earlier this year about Louis using  a straightener... I drew a picture of him straightening his hair surrounded by dead poodles... lol Louis.

ETA: All ten Vampire Chronicles books and the .exe for Microsoft Reader, possibly the most wonderful program ever... something.
ETA: All thre
Ohhh dear heavens.
So, for an art project Kat encouraged us all to put poetry and art and whatnot on a wall in our hallway. An expression wall. For a long time, nothing went up but Kat's initial picture of a giant girl. Then we all decided to change that, so the Nuts coloured some pictures from a colouring book, tore them out, and put them up. Good fun. I also wrote some Twilight poetry just for lulz:

Twilight Poetry...ish... )

(There was another haiku that started out "He sparkles in light" but I can't remember the rest.)

Anyway, all good fun, right? But I came back from class and the last two lines of the Jacob Black poem were scribbled out. I was annoyed, but whatever. Then Kat wrote them back in.

Then, tonight, while we were all having our nice little Elisabeth mit Mate (hottie Mate, as Diane calls him) all the poetry was ripped from the wall and replaced with this:

There once was a silly girl
Tales of Twilight she liked to tell
She ruined the story for everyone
Now no one is having fun.

1. Limerick fail.
2. You have NO RIGHT to rip other peoples' stuff off the wall, you idiot.
3. Twilight is NOT good enough to warrant any reaction this strong.
Meanwhile, they had put up a bunch of terribly-coloured pictures on their end of the hall to mock ours. And we know who it was, because only one person on this hall hasn't read Twilight AND has a bunch of vindictive jerk friends.

Well, I was going to talk myself down and keep myself from being mean, but everyone else was ready for an all out war... and so it began.

We went down to their pictures and Kat captioned one "lol passive aggression is fun lololzors rofl"
Then we unleashed the anger onto our own segment of the hall with the following:

PAN, eat your heart out. )

So.  Apparently the Nuts are gonna have to cut some people up.  We'll see what happens in the morning... when our RA wakes up...

In happier news, Mate!  I mean... Elisabeth.  We came up with some good times during our Elisabeth screening.  Hottie Mate was probably my favourite, though I also taught the other girls "Schlaffen mit mir in meinem Bett." in case we ever meet him.  And I wrote on Tara's board "Dear Tara, let's ta-danz!  Love Death" in an attempt to halp her remember those pesky German pronunciations...

AND AND AND.  A COMMUNITY IN WHICH I AM WHICH I LOVE JUST POSTED THE ENTIRE CONDUCTOR'S SCORE FOR ELISABETH.  AND SOMEONE IN THE PAST WENT IN AND HAND-WROTE ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS UNDER EVERY LINE.  MEIN GOTT.  I AM REALLY EXCITED.  Whenever I love something I want to play it on the piano (still waiting for Repo sheet music, ha) and and and this is just too good.  I'm printing it up and buying a notebook for it TOMORROW and then I'm going to go play it and disappear into the practice rooms for HOURS.  The music is SO GOOD.
